Wildcat scope rail stability

It could be that the connection between the cylinder and the rail is also a fixed connection to the barrel, so any distortion due to cylinder expansion will be transmitted the same amount to rail and barrel alike.
My zeros have been pretty solid.

Another thought: I think that the rail is reversible (have not tested yet) This could make fitting stable nightvision or camera equipment a cinch.
On my setup, the eye relief would leave my face comfortably behind the protruding rail if the camera/NV is fitted (when needed) on a reach mount.

A reversed rail may also enable use of a large objective scope, without having to use high mounts. Better if you prefer the tighter cheek weld on the flat 'comb' with lower mounts.
