FX Wildcat

MK3 was purchased to deal with neighborhood nuisance crow problem. Blind set up in woods behind property was ideal but dead carcasses in neighbor's lot was not. Found .30 JSB 44.75s took the fight out of crows, ending matters quickly. Accuracy @ 50 yards, and under, was astonishing. After remaining crows wised up, nothing came closer than 100 yards. Purchased AGT Vulcan 3 .30 for longer distances as opposed to upgrading MK3. Still honored part of collection. WM

Dustin, hello sir, my ? to you is what your varmint of choice is & how often are you shooting squirrel ? I have 8 pcp's , all .22's. I've taken G-hogs w/ slugs to 110 yards. Pellets to 75 , but prefer 60 & under. I tallied well over 200 kills. I would , depending on your location, be concerned about throwing that much lead in the trees unless your keeping a tree trunk or limb as a backstop. Squirrels didn't always give me that shot . Maybe WV squirrel are different LOL! I have not gone after raccoon, fox or coyote & don't intend to. As mentioned already 30's eat a lot of air & those are some $$ pellets! The Wildcat is a nice piece of machinery for
sure. I would bet a .25 may fill your needs w/ the right ammo. Just my 2 cents. Good hunting!

I had a .25 Wildcat BT. The .25 Hades sure puts a thump on them. The problem I had with the gun was POI shift. Both of the FX guns I’ve owned had this problem. They are very accurate guns but the barrel system is just too delicate for the type hunting I do. Just something to think about.
I agree, but the overall package has me going back to FX time after time. I use the CF Liner, some kind of shroud tensioner, and on the Wildcat a barrel band. No poi issues after those upgrades. For the money I dont think I should have to fix the design, but the ergos of the Wildcat fit me like my shadow.
