I figured I'd share some shots I got the other morning when I went out with the camera instead of the rifle. It seems like every time I'm out there reducing the bushytail population, I'm treated to an endless parade of birds of various sorts, and some fairly interesting ones occasionally too. Have yet to get a good shot of the parrots, but one of these days I'll manage.... For now, the painted buntings are my favorite to shoot (with the camera of course!)

My shooting bench is the background here, as these are all taken in the mango tree that sits center of my yard.

Nice photos. The color saturation on some of those birds is amazing. Where I live there aren’t any birds with that much color. Thanks for sharing a little bit of your backyard wildlife.

Very nice photos! The painted Bunting is especially colorful, I've never had the chance to see one yet as I live in the West.

Beautiful photos, although I find the vertical lines in the background of some a little distracting. You might try a smudge tool to eliminate this effect. Wildlife photography is one of the most difficult genre of photography and your images show a lot of commitment and skill.
