Will the Diana Bandit pistol make cobbled together PCP pistols obsolete?

It was a typo. It is a Crosman 1701P Use Airgun Nation code (I can't remember what the heck it was - getting old sucks) and the pistol is just under $300 plus shipping (unless they have free ship Fridays going on again). Code is AGNATION Just found it in my email All Caps. Probably the best value for a 10 meter PCP target pistol out there.

Awesome and Thank You. I am going to have another look at it. My PP700sa turned into a carbine and it seems all 'pistols' do shortly after arriving to me.

Glad to help- and your gonna love this pistol. Read the thread about qballs 1701p pistol build. An amazing adventure that ends up with him going back to nearly stock! This pistol is super tune worthy and you can take it up to a deadly pesting carbine or leave it as a wonderfully accurate 10 meter tack driver. I have taken a grey squirrel with mine but it was a perfect shot under perfect conditions with the pistol freshly filled and a rock solid base. Look into the $27 GEO LDC if you want mouse fart quiet (airgununiverse is his website). I added one and shoot this in my basement with zero complaints from the wife.

I love having my bandit as the "low power" paper puncher/pinker it is. Always good to have a light, simple pistol you can just pull out and have fun with.

I have my 1322 set up about the same way, and have a 1701p trigger assembly in it. As well as LW barrel

It looks a bit long, but really is less than an inch longer than a standard 1322. And is super quiet with integrated mod. Yep, I think lego guns will always be king. BUT on a budget? You can snag a pp800 for about $155 or so

That all depends on WHO does the cobbling.

lol...I sure as hell hear that ...funny.

Very good. I am torn because the PP700SA is shooting very well and I am perplexed as to why "I got the bug" to click BUY.

lol...my wife asks me the same question....you only live once buddy....you only live once..

great laugh, Thank You. Soooo true

OK some of the responders got the point. First all pistols listed minus the one I listed would not qualify for being cobbled together. If you look at the gun I listed it has a plastic breech, a 88 gram Co2 air reservoir (which is stated fill pressure 2200psi). While these (88gram bulbs) are rated at about 1500 psi by the manufactures, I would thank that 2200 is below burst pressures, but would you bet on it? The valve looks to be pinned (Screwed with two screws) maybe as the front one my be just for the frame. While I do not know the listed party, there are several hacks in that part of Louisiana. I know this because I got stuck with a couple of them. If you doubt me Reba Hailey can attest to such facts as she knew one of them and warned every one she could at the time. You may even find some of this in the old yellow forum achieves. So lets compare apples to apples and not apples to oranges. And yes the Diana Bandit is not the only good pistol out there in the 200.00 range. It just happens to be the one I have. I also have 3 different 22XX and 13XX series pistols for sale now that I have the bandit.Just my choice.
