Damn wind, probably steady 20-25 with gusts up to 30mph. Went for a Ranger ride / shoot anyway. Grackles and sparrows were the target of choice. Impact mkll compact .22 was shot 46 times with 27 kills, at 20 -40 yds, not bad considering the wind. Some shots required about 6" of holdoff.

Last purposely done wind testing, I was holding wind about almost 6 ft(bout 35-45mph wind with gusts up to 60) heck of a challenge; once figured out; loads of fun watching the pellet flight*shooting out to 120yards

a friend planted xmas type pine trees in 4 rows to make a shooting lane , took 12 years to grow any hight to make any difference , but he was 39 at that time . his retirement property . retired now trees are 25 feet tall and very dense . I had no idea i would be shooting @ 39 .
