Wingshot and Rabbits

Had fun after work tonight. A couple inches of new snow and the wind laid down. Took the Wingshot back bunny hunting. I seen several and tagged 3. That thing is a blast to shoot. Not much in the way of a shotgun for power. But it’s great for bunnies or red squirrels under 25 yards. I wouldn’t try it on fox squirrels. Just not enough juice.

Wow nice! I wouldn’t have thought to use one for rabbits. Have you used it for water fowl? Upland game birds?

I got 3 more this morning. My buddy got a new Judge for Christmas. He got 2 using shot shells and we both missed a few others. Started out at daylight and didn’t see a thing till 10:00. The sun got a little higher and it warmed up from -2 to 19*. Wished we would have waited to start hunting a little later. The wind and new snow didn’t bother me. But walking for 2 hours before the first bunny tired me out.
