I was expecting a little project restoring my 1934 Buck Jones. Fortunately all it needed was a good clean and the missing shot tube. And now it’s done. Along the way I did a lot of research looking for a shot tube. And after restoring my Buck Jones and a 1894 I kinda like playing with them because they are very inexpensive. And fun to shoot in my 15 foot workshop range.
So I bought this one on eBay. Its a 1958 Western Auto modle 1000.
It looks great but does not shoot . Listing says bb goes a couple inches. So the barrel is clear any how.
Can’t wait to get it apart.
Plan to contact Cobalt 327 when he gets back from vacation and get a spring, seals and a big bore air tube . Looking to hot rod and repair this one. But leave all the cool paint work alone.
