Winter shooting

I enjoy a nice wood stock more than a metal chassis in the cold for sure!
Our range is up on the mountain so frozen in for now again .

but then I have to figure out how to get back up

There is always a fair bit of moaning and groaning when i have been down low, fortunately getting out of bed is still a breeze.

Yesterday i shot in a not heated shed, so just a couple of degrees above freezing, but it still worked alright.

Better do like little friend and layer up real good.

I'm ok with taking some time away.
It'll be that much sweeter when the weather warms up.
It's 3 degrees above zero here as I'm typing.

I usually make a couple trips to the gun range every winter to shoot airguns. Had plans with two other friends, each of us were going to bring a couple of guns.
This changed my mind

How cold is to cold?

LOL, I feel your pain. I haven't been out to shoot in 5 weeks, it's either to cold or the snow is so deep I can't get to my range even with a 4-wheeler (range is way off the grid) but, this is what winter should be. Makes you appreciate spring and summer that much more.
