Wolverine OR RAW

Okay one last time, which one for bench shooting & Long Range let's say 150 yards or so maybe out to 200 (25 cal) And you can throw your suggestions in there also.
No impacts and probably no crown. I have had them both with a real big Never Again. Staying @ 2000ish or less!
HELP ME, please!

Well, 150-200 yards, that's pretty rarefied air my friend! But, it took me 2 seconds to answer your question, and I wasted one second thinking. RAW. I've owned both, still own the RAW. Daystate makes fine products, but the Wolverine stock, for me, is a no-go, just doesn't fit, but it's perfect for others. The RAW is simple, robust, owner-friendly for tuning, better trigger. Should you have a problem, Martin is a phone call away, in the good ol' US of A. Good luck talking to a Daystate tech about an issue. There are many questions with illusive, or arguable answers, this is not one. Just my opinion of course, and my wife says I'm always wrong (but I'm not this time).

I love both. But to me the Wolverine R HP (.22) almost feels like it is just able to reach 100 yards (factory tune, or as received from AoA), whereas the HM1000x dings the target with authority.

With the same 25.39 gr JSB, the RAW as tuned is making about 60 fps more at the muzzle, and maintaining equivalent accuracy.

I really haven't pushed the tuning on either gun, so maybe the Wolv could be made to get closer to the power being made by the RAW - but since this is potentially at the sake of accuracy (and definitely less optimal power vs # of shots equation), I've just left my Wolv alone and enjoy it within 75 yards.

Once again, I love my Wolverine but I certainly wouldn't choose it first at anything past 100 yards in its current state of tune.

The quality of the RAW is not what I would call high end at all these days. I'm guessing this is due to them now being mass produced by Airforce. The newer models with that big ugly fart can on the end is atrocious and the tactical models are even further uglier. The fit and finish on the Wolverine is night and day next to RAW, hands down.If it's set in stone to get a RAW try finding one that was actually produced by Martin himself.

I haven't been to Fort Worth TX either, BTW AutoNumatic is Airforce Airguns. Nothing wrong with them being made in either of the locations but keep in mind these are "mass produced" and to the fact they made to order is rediuculous. You can purchase these at PA, AGD and have one tomorrow.

I do want to jump in here, the way I understand it is AirForce is machining the main action and components, and Martin is assembling and testing them.
AirForce has more modern and accurate machining centers so tolerances will be tighter.
RAW’s are known for accuracy and dependability, I shoot my RAW guns when others are failing, broken, or needs tuning constantly. I know because I have had two of the supposedly “superior” manufacturers. One I just purchased a 4mo. Ago and is broken and awaiting parts from N.C. So figure out which brand I’m speaking of?
I guess I will have to shoot my RAW’s that all have thousands of more pellets through them and never a malfunction that I didn’t cause.
