Wolverine R High Powered Varmint Hunt*update*

Hey guys,

I recently got back from a few full days in the field filming for several upcoming videos. We traveled to a very remote property that has a huge population of the California Ground Squirrels. This area is about as extreme as you can find for hunting these destructive varmints, they have decimated the area with holes and have caused major damage to the many Oak trees. Terry brought the Daystate Wolverine R HP .25 that he received from Airguns Of Arizona, this gun has an ART barrel and shoots the 25gr JSB's very well at close to 60fpe. Over the day Terry was able to take down well over 100+ of these elusive varmints at various ranges in some pretty nasty wind. I tried to capture the action as best I could throughout the day and hope some may enjoy the enclosed video. This is a new channel that I plan to promote and upload a few high quality videos to from time to time, if you enjoy help by subscribing.

Cheers,

Dana

Hey Dana,

Another great spaghetti western made varmint hunting video! Great shooting Terry and Marley was fun to watch, her enthusiasm for the hunt is obvious. Dana do you ever get tempted to hunt larger game species? I see over in Arizona there are more bigger game animals on the air rifle hunting list. The Airgun Hunting Association has a pretty good interactive state by state airgun hunting regs map that is kept up to date with new regulations. They actually spec out per species the caliber and foot pounds of energy requirements. This site is packed with useful information.

I could see it being worthwhile to plan a trip over in AZ for a hunt.

Thanks Dwight for the support,

Yes we will be doing a pig hunt/Coyote hunt and possibly a deer hunt coming up here soon with the AAA brand big bores.. For me it's difficult to be gone for more than 4 days so I'm very limited to travel, most of the hunting we do is limited to smaller calibers so we work with what's appropriate. Right now I'm waiting on some custom camera gear to be made that I plan on using for these hunts to capture top notch footage.

Cheers,

Dana
