Worth Waiting for a FX Sale?

After much time on the forum, and the help of some members, I'm leaning heavily to a Mk3 Wildcat, likely a Sniper VP or BT.

Between now and Christmas, are they likely to go on sale thru FX or any of the online stores? Is it worth waiting a couple months to see what happens with prices or do they historically never go on sale?

If you can wait, I would. I don't know how often FX guns go on sale, but you are more likely to see a sale of some sort shortly before Christmas whether it is an "official" FX sale or a sale from a retailer. In any case, if you can wait until "Black Friday" (the Friday after Thanksgiving day) at least, you *might* get a better deal.

Then again... the way things are going these days... if you KNOW what you want and it is available, you might be better off just buying it now! (chuckle)

Best you can probably do is to buy one that is well kept and second hand. Fx sales are pretty much non existant. Usually retailer sales will actually exclude fx guns. But I think black Friday or cyber Monday will be your best bet for that if it's a thing.

I have never ever seen, heard of any sale on pcp guns in the upper tier shelf like FX, Daystate, etc.

The only ones that ever go on sale are hatsans, Benjamin’s, Gamo, and maybe Umarex.
Heck, I don’t think I’ve ever seen an Avenger go on sale.

FX airguns do not go on sale. You can't even use retailer discount codes on them.
Go ahead and order one now and hopefully you can be enjoying it at Christmas.

Oxymoron. With prices on everything going up, up, up, I’m surprised that airguns are still pretty much the same. Look at the prices of pellets, food, fuel, and most everything else. Buy it now if you can find it.

They do go “on sale” at ever higher prices. And, why go “on sale”? When so many are willing to pay… and then pay some more to accessorize them? FX is the Apple of PCPs… Brilliant marketing and good product.

The “Sale” on an FX is whatever price they have for whatever is on the shelf. The Impact has been hard to come by in the popular configurations. My wife waited 5 weeks for M3. Now she wants a slug liner and god only knows how long that will take. I would pay $200 for the liner right now just to ease her anxiety.
Should have never let her shoot mine with slugs.

Not exactly a sale off purchase price but I remembered Pyramid Air had 10x points on FX guns during Thanksgiving and cyber Mondays.

Around most holidays I've noticed dealers can offer incentives like free shipping, free ammo and small discounts. If you can wait it might mean something, but nothing game changing. Krales, in the Netherlands, currently lists 20 airguns on sale, about three or four brands, too bad they're blocked from selling FX in the USA. WM

Lots of luck of that too. My suggestion is to check your dental insurance and bite the pellet and get it over with. It only hurts for a little while.
