Little update. Worked on a quick barrel tension system instead of free floating, keep in mind its a 35” long barrel but a good 14” of it is supported. Major, major improvement with slugs. Cleary this was an issue of some nasty harmonics with slugs. Pellets didnt seem to care at all. So my question is, is there a longer dwell time to start the slug moving? Are the pellets out of the barrel fast enough before any major harmonics occur?
