Got my .257 Talon!! I got it used, but it was built by R&L. Barrel is a 1:14 twist TJ 24", R&L shroud, R&L extreme valve, and heavy hammer. I am getting 902fps avg with 70gr hp bullets. Got it sighted in and even from a rather unsteady table, it easily shoots sub MOA!!


Should have bought one of these a long time ago!!

.593" length. .2575-.258" should be about perfect size for my barrel.

You sure that barrel is only 24"? Looks as long as my 32". Edit: Ah R&L Shroud....that explains it...thought that barrel looked VERY "fat". lol

Is that a Talon frame cause it looks shorter than my Condor Frame (front of bottle to front of barrel bushing about 19.5")?

Does the shroud tame it's bark cause mine is LOUD without one!

I haven't shot it without the shroud, but it is still loud. Not Bulldog .357 loud, but louder than my .30 Marauder and .25 70fpe marauder.

What kind of total length, and weight are we talking about,,,,
Its a little to much for the sparrows I shoot,
