WRABF 25m outdoors scores in an official Australian Team selection Trial:

Shot a few weeks ago, it was the first selection trial for the OZ team for the next European Champs / World Cup in Slovenia 2017.
It was shot in light but very twitchy wind and some rain and hail.
Some very good shooting was achieved under the conditions I think you may agree. RAW rifles took the first 9 places in two gun aggregate in case you may be interested. But no one here has a Thomas rifle as yet.

Perhaps if you have an interest in BR 25 m Outdoor shooting, you might like to compete for a place in your nation's team for Slovenia. Those of you who live in Europe and adjacent lands are in a good position to represent should you be able to win a place. Each country gets allocated so many positions. There are some 30 odd countries affiliated from Brazil to Finland to South Africa and of course OZ.

The World Championships in July/August this year, in which I shot and officiated , was an amazing event that brought together some remarkable people. From little 11 yr old Aapo, who placed second in one rimfire event behind his dad from Finland, to the fine body of tall fit men and women and juniors from South Africa, who did so well in Air and rimfire events, the competition was fierce and friendly . 16 countries fielded teams; there were 90 Air shooters... Wonderful stuff, so get with it and enjoy it. ... Best regards to all, Harry in OZ.

"Strikey"I have been watching this event gain momentum here in Oz, Harry, and I see quite a few of our better known benchrest shooters are jumping on the band wagon so to speak, I am keen to give it a go but its a long way for me to travel, maybe one day.
Yes. Apart from me they are pretty much all top rimfire and CF BR shooters who came out of the woodwork about four years ago with the World Champs looming (Air and Rimfire) and brought their great wind reading skills with them into Air as a side issue.
Aus won the LV Teams Air in USA four years ago and the same in Brisbane this year. Now some, like Rebecca, are taking Air seriously and the results are showing.
If you look at the depth of excellent scores in those results above, when conditions were by no means ideal, we can look forward to a bright future for Air BR here. The next World Champs is in RSA in 2019 and could be a big shootout between numerous countries.

After Slovenia the selection for RSA will be on in 2018/19. Now is the time to get started! I'll be 82 yrs and running out of time by then but would love to be there. :) ... Best regards, Harry.
