I am hopful Though -that it wouldn't damage the barrel, because it is the only chemical I've found that acutully dissolve's lead-
I had tried Kroil to loosen the buildup, but really only made a mess-
nothing advertised actually did what the label said. And probably the reasoning is the EPA?
ive heard that some of the major names in use today, have changed their formulas -
think about all the hazardous substances that worked great for their intended purpose, but were later deemed toxic,
I'd also thought of electrolysis - there was a company called Outers that made the device, information is still available on line about it, also still listed on the Midway sales site
