Resources WRABF/ERABSF vs N50

Mike’s airguns are always on top for the past 3 consecutive years (pellet class) and I predict it will be the same in 2025.

There’s no point for other brands to compete because they won’t make it to top 3

That’s why I said WRABF is harder. Can’t you understand? LOL

I definitely understand that it’s two different games with two different sets of rules.
If you want to shoot in WRABF/ERABSF then go for it.
If people want to shoot N50, ARA or IR 50/50 then so be it.
No body else is complaining but you. People enjoy having a good time shooting together in what ever discipline they are precipitating in.
If you think N50 is so easy why don’t you just come on over and show the N50 shooters how it’s done and take home your 1st place trophy.

S. There are Raton 18 matches over 2 days. My post says “partial.”
Yes N50 is easier, that was noted 6 months ago on this thread; see post #2.
13 of your 23 AGN posts are here on this thread. I wonder why that is?
Oh… you’re the type that is seeking “equity of outcome”. We covered that. Fully read your own thread.

Blame the two blokes who commented on my comment regarding Sadeq to stick to shooting WRABF targets for practice.

Got

Got any of the harder targets that you shot? Sure would like to see one, if you have any.
Shooting at WRABF targets at 50m is a little more difficult than N50 target. Especially when there are more difficult weather conditions. The size of the WRABF 50m target 10 ring is a little smaller than at N50 (due the 1st post from the topic). as the similar rules in both organization and the targets is was the new challenge for me, you can see the link below :

If we compare the N50 target I shot and scored 248 with the WRABF target, its score should be in the 245/246 range. Of course, the scoring was done with .224 gauge (the size of the X ring on both targets is very close to each other 0.312&0.313).
My post was just a curiosity and challenge for myself, not a comparison, Benchrest shooters in different styles have their own challenges and this is respectable.

Regard,
Sadeq

If a comparison is made, it can be in the N50 Pro .177, .20 & .22 Slug Air Class. Its rules are very similar to the rules of the WRABF 50m Air Unlimited class.
I think new experiences can be gained and used by shooters from both N50 and WRABF.

5. Pro .177, .20, & .22 Slug Air Class Requirements

Pro Slug Class allows unlimited use of highly modified air rifles that exceeds precision of typical factory rifles.

Rifle: Any, including custom-made slug rifles

Slugs: Any cylindrical slug design, including custom or handmade.

FPE: Maximum 100 foot-pounds of energy.

Barrel: Custom barrels and barrel attachments are allowed.

Air Tanks: Tethered air tanks are allowed but tank must be secured. Tethered tanks are not allowed on top of benches.

Stock: Any. Bedding allowed.

Weight: Unlimited.

Rests: Any.

Note: Pro .177, .20, & .22 Slug is scored with the .224 plug head.

I see no difference in your wind conditions that you are shooting than what we shoot are here. With that being said, who cares about a 2-3 point difference other than you. You should have got a 250 on the N50 card since it’s so easy.
There is no club that holds WRABF events in my area. It makes no difference to me what the rules are in WRABF. I only care about the rules in the shooting discipline that I’m shooting in. No need to compare my scores to something I’m not apart of.

Why so hostile towards Sadeq? He was merely stating that the rules are similar for both N50 Pro and WRABF Unlimited (except for the target size and distance). You are just jealous perhaps. LOL

Not jealous at all. Just don’t see then need to keep beating a dead horse on who’s target is easier to get a better score on.
Every match has a winner and first loser, doesn’t matter if it’s WRABF, N50, IR50/50 or ARA. I’m just thankful I live close to a club that shoots 3 out of the 4 that I just listed and can shoot all 3 of them in one weekend if I choose to do so.

Good for you. Now keep on practicing until you can get 300 30X on your next 50 feet indoor shoot.

I think Mike started the N50 card to entice more shooters to the side of BR shooting while using guns already in their stable and at a yardage that more clubs and back yards could accommodate!
I believe he saw the increase in shooters wanting longer ranges and this card would allow a competitive option for all shooters and be fair and increase the numbers involved in BR.

N50 is tailored for Thomas rifles. Since 2021 up to 2024, pellet/sportsman slug/Pro slug categories are dominated by Thomas air rifles. Majority of the other airguns are not made for benchrest such as FX Airguns, Skout, Daystate, etc and they all have a big disadvantage against Thomases because of their build. N50 2025 for sure will be dominated by shooters from Raton/Open Grove/OKCGC using their Thomases again! LOL

I will have to completely disagree that "N50 is tailored for Thomas rifles".

In the N50 2024 season at my local club we had 21 different air rifle shooters. We only had 2 shooters that brought a Thomas rifle.

Rim fire still has the most shooters in every match through out the year. At one match it was almost 3 RF shooters to 1 AR shooter.

I will also add out of 118 rifles (all shooting off the bench) at the 2024 Pyramyd Air Cup 100 yard match, not one Thomas was in the equipment list. But, I have a feeling that will change in the near future.

Let’s narrow it down to pellet class… All top three highest scores are all Thomas from 2021 - 2024
