I bought two Classics with paracord wrap installed by previous owners. One was a coreless paracord and the other was regular paracord.
I liked the Desert Tan color of the regular paracord but preferred how the Leshiy with the coreless paracord folded tight. Fortunately the previous owner of the Desert Tan wrapped Leshiy had included some extra parachord so I removed all of it and stripped the core out of it and re-wrapped it.
I can't seem to find a less blurry picture than this one. This was before I removed the core from the paracord.
This was years ago but I'm impressed that there's still so much love for the Leshiy Classic. I wrapped mine with some Gearskin adhesive fabric - it was a little more difficult to work with compared to a vinyl wrap but it looked good and was pretty durable. Hard to put on and hard to remove because it did leave behind some residue so keep that in mind (disregard the non-matching blue grip, it was swapped out shortly after these photos):
My first try after watching the axe handle video. Could a bit tighter. I keep a beater paring knife in the garage and I heated it up with a torch. Nice clean cut and I can keep the flame away from the air tube.
