Hello AGN:
I'm half-heartedly looking to sell my Ernest Rowe tuned black FX Impact 0.25 (serial #155029) PCP w/ Extra O-rings & Upgraded DonnyFL Fixed Shroud w/ Protective Endcap and Built-in 1/2 x 20 UNF adapter to allow you to easily add your favorite LDC. Rifle will come to you in its originally factory hardcase with Ernest's Tune Sheet, one magazine, owner's manual, foster fitting, fill probe dust cover and upgraded ergonomic grip. Scope, rings, level and bipod shown in the photos are NOT included.
This was Tominco's Impact and was one of the very first Impacts to make it into the US (it might actually be the very first one). Ernest tuned this rifle on November 16, 2016 to shoot the 25.39g JSBs at about 930-940fps along with the following (as listed on the back of the tune sheet): complete reseal, trigger tune, polishing valve rod, install M4 screw on pellet probe block, install one o-ring on barrel bushing and clean all the internal parts.
I took possession of this Impact shortly after Ernest's tune. I sighted it in, shot a couple of magazines through it and it shot great - just as you'd expect an Ernest tuned rifle to. After that, it sat unused in my safe until last month because I didn't do much with any of my PCPs for the last couple of years - and when I had the rare chance to dispatch a squirrel in my backyard, I always reached for the Vulcan bullpup instead. When I started shooting it again in July, rifle was very inconsistent so I called Ernest to diagnose the issue - he told me that the regulator needed to be resealed. One of the main reasons I buy Ernest tuned rifles is that he says that, once tuned, he'll service the rifle for life. He also said that it's a pretty easy job and that if I watched his YouTube videos on the subject, I'd likely be able to do it myself without having to send the rifle back in. I've never been inclined to do that sort of work so that's not going to happen.
So, I'm going to put this otherwise awesome Impact up for sale for a brief period of time to see if anyone wants to take on the reseal (I think the o-rings needed to do the job are included in the set that will ship with the rifle). If it sells, great - I'll turn around and purchase the Edgun R5M I've been somewhat interested in. If it doesn't sell, I'll ship it back to Ernest to have it fixed. Rifle's in otherwise great shape, holds air perfectly and has a couple of nice upgrades with the DonnyFL shroud/adapter and the larger grip that's way more comfortable than the factory grip.
Priced REDUCED TO SELL at $1500 + 1/2 shipping. Paypal Friends & Family payment is preferred. I've got a lot of feedback on here and the Yellow forum. Local Bay Area buyers are welcomed to pick up rifle in person.
