Air Venturi X-Regulator problem

New avenger-x Depressurize and reg still has air OK dry fire 3 or 4 times and no air. Screw reg in all the way then 1/4 turn open.Fill to 4000 psi and reg is already at 1700 psi.Repeat and open only 1/8 turn fill and reg is at 1700 psi.I am trying to start at 1400 psi.Any one know whats going on.Thanks!

I had the same problem with my Avenge X. Air Venturi sent me a replacement regulator. The o rings were so hard that the one on the spool broke into two pieces upon removal. All is well now, give the Air Venturi Techs a call. I polished the inside of the reg body upon removal of everything with a Dremel tool felt cone to make it slick as chrome. Don't overdo it and clean up afterward very well.

Thanks Wendell.Good info just one question.Do the avengers tear down any where close to the marauders in simplicity.I know there are good vidios out there but I still get a little sheepish tearing into something on warrenty.Thanks again!

If your Avenge X is under warranty, I will make the proper contacts for repair or replacement. Avenge X is very easy to work on. Empty air first.
