What do you think about this one?It looks like you shoot through it and then have to look at the top to see the speed. Doesn’t seem very convenient unless I’m misunderstanding how it works.

I had that one it broke.....I can’t speak to that one.
I have one like this and it’s very dependable. There is one similar to this that sets on a stand too. Just be sure to get the model that can be changed to fps. The early versions only listed mps.

I would shoot through it and it would say my .457 is doing like 2000fpsI use a garmin xero now and it’s the best I’ve ever used. Way overpriced but really high quality.
I have a pro-chrony, fx v1, and a couple of the type I showed above. Before the Garmin, I ended up only using the cheap ones above. I blew my first one off the end of my Texan during a valve dump and it still works after putting the pieces back together. I also shot one of the emitters off and replaced it with one from a tv remote and it still works.
What happened to yours? Most people like them.
Good luck,
Dave
I didn't have problems with FX v1 (except rarely it would not register a shot) but did not try v2. Should I stay away from v2?I have used Fx v2 pocket,
that thing is terrible to use,
returned it.
now I m using pro chrono dlx bt version,
this thing eats batteries but it’s super fun to use…
Don’t know man,I didn't have problems with FX v1 (except rarely it would not register a shot) but did not try v2. Should I stay away from v2?
