Events Xtreme Field Target April 23rd, Phoenix Rod and Gun Club

Ben has been holding out on the announcement for an April match, and watching the weather forecast like a hawk, hoping it would hold some good news about a less than normal high temp.....

And.....he texted me tonight, saying that he's seeing a forecasted high of 82 degrees (with some cloud cover) for Sat the 23rd and asked me to release the hounds! by announcing that he will be holding an Xtreme Field Target match this month. Regardless, I'd recommend an umbrella or a big hat to hide under and plenty of water, both before, during and after the match.

Same location, same rules.

Medals and JDs Custom gift certificates for the winners.

Should be the typical fun time that these matches always are!

Come out and enjoy the challenge.

Just checked weather for PRGC tomorrow and I'm seeing high of 79 and wind of 5-10mph. Sounds like shooters are going to be treated to lower than normal high temp for end of April in PHX.

Was really hoping to spend today bumping reg up and getting dope data on .177/20.5gr slugs to shoot tomorrow. But the 55mph winds at my place aren't conducive to any kind of shooting! Guess that means that if I can make it there tomorrow, I'll be shooting my normal .22/MRDs or maybe even the .20/15.89gr.

I wish I was exaggerating...

Highest I'm seeing at a quick glance is 59mph.

High speed footage of a pellet in this would be VERY cool. I'm guessing it'd have to pan/track to keep the pellet in the image though!!! Didn't try to shoot today but just guessing by watching crap flying past the windows horizontally, I'd say 3+ feet of windage @100 yards in the gusts.
