Hey..thanks for the reply. As far as budget goes, I was thinking $500ish. I have already ordered a somewhat inexpensive 4500psi compressor. Have read good things about the Notos. Also looking at the Beeman 1358, the Benjamin Akela and Flashpup.
Welcome. I have some Gamo barrel breaks and they're loud in comparison to the PCP's I have. I'm also pretty new to the PCP scene, but I started off with a Beeman 1358 and then a Notos. In my opinion the Beeman is way louder, in stock form and much heavier compared to the Notos. The Notos to me is a better option hands down, it has also been more accurate for me so far and I've only had the Notos a few days. 95% of my shooting is offhand.

This is all personal opinion. I hope this helps and you're happy with whatever you decide

I decided not to go the route of a pcp, because I do not have the space for a good compressor and am getting a bit old and arthritic for hand pumping. I am sticking with my springers and a few CO2 guns. finding CO2 a bit quieter. One of my springers, a Feinwerkbau 300s is in a league of its own in regards to accuracy, surpassing all the othe springers and the CO2 gun, which is a rather highly modified Crossman 22xx type with a Walther Lothar barrel and a Crossman 1701p trigger. I don't really know for certain but suspect the sound of CO2 might be similar to a pcp, someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Well, ... I know the FWB 300 and the 22xx. Co2 is quieter than say a .177 20fpe Mac-1 USFT with a T-break (Loud) but louder than a 50fpe AirForsce w/DonnyFL Shogun. So much effects sound, tuning, fpe .... . Put a TKO moderator on it and you wont know it's the same rig.
Now it may seem a log drive however guaranteed worth it. Seems you may like targets & such so get down to Minor Hill andmeet the very best buch of airgunners you could ever hope for. Not only will you have fun but you will learn more than a year of reading. Heck there might be someone near who has a few (dozen, hundered or) excellent used rigs for sale.

New to the site. I own a couple of old 22 caliber pellet rifles...a Benjamin 892 and a Crosman 1400 which I am currently re-sealing. Also have a newer 177 Gamo springer. All of which are relatively loud. I say this because our pointer has become freaked out when I shoot them. Looking to get into PCPs, maybe a bullpup. Any suggestions on a good quiet bullpup. Thanks
welcome

I have no idea on the sound of the Co2 guns. Haven't owned one for many years, and the last one I had was a cheap bb pistol, can't even remember what that sounded like

I think you'll be happy. I know I was and so was my son. So much so that he's just about claimed the Notos when we're shooting and I was looking at buying a second one, but may end up getting what's been explained to me as the Notos "big brother" the Zelos instead. Still deciding

The zelos is a bit on the heavy side it seems. It is up there with the JTS Brawn...9 lbs or so

I think you are correct...saw 9 lbs on one site but I think they were incorrect.
I just had to go double check again online lol I remember seeing something at around 7 lbs, but with looking at all different ones right now I thought I may have been mistaken. Did it the other day, thought I saw a brand new Daystate Huntsman Revere for $900 and went back wanting to buy it and I was definitely wrong
