YH rebuilt

I replaced the entire compression head with parts from aliexpress.
First and major problem was a seized piston rod, I replaced the cam with diy refurbished (on the right, the other one can wait for elbow greasing for now).

I ran the YH with new head assy for 15 minutes to season the new piston rings.
Oil is a new to me Mobil 1 for EU turbocharged engines... if good for audi and porshe - shall be good enough for YH.

Started filling the first 144 cc scba, the Amp draw looks normal for a freshly new built, I was expecting over 20 ish A.

The Temp sensors installed closest possible to piston rings, T1 is a first stage piston ring, T2 is the second stage piston rings.

Finished topping up 3 scba 144 cc tanks from 200 bars to about 280 ish in less then an hour total running time, pause for cool down about 10 minutes, replaced the bucket of water ones.

The Amp reading at the end

And the sensors Temps dropped a bit at the end of the third tank. I have not seen a higher then 55C on the OEM Temp gauge all these time. So pretty much happy with a water pump upgrade from 8W to 30W, a flow is visible stronger but the limitation is in the machined water paths...I will leave that as is.

The Mobile 1 oil is promising. This how it looks right away I shot down the compressor, still mushy from bubble mix. I just checked couple hours later the oil is much clearer almost transparent.

The biggest issue what I see at the moment is, that the silicon oil in the pressure gauge boiled from high Temp and vibration. After an hour sitting I checked and still looks the same. High Temp on that block....

I have some spare gauges from this same brand, maybe doesn't like a horizontal install, I will swap it down to a vertical one ???
