FX Yokozuma on Crown mk2 600mm. 25

Hey Guys and Gals,
I made an alarming discovery yesterday while shooting my Crown mk2 600mm in .25 .
First of all, I would like to say I love the tunability of the Yokozuna. It really helped calm down the the 1:18 slug liner I have installed . Groups closed down to some nice 8 shot groups at my home range of 78 yards. 20231228_170052.jpgThis shots were20231228_170106.jpg fired at 78 yards with a right to left crosswind at 6 mph with a few gusts touching 10 mph.
But as I started , I notice my shroud was almost touching my air vessel. Not sure if the weight of the Yokozuna on the unsupported shroud bent my barrel or what is happening.

17054213387357906209658254551526.jpgAs you can see my shroud17054213387357906209658254551526.jpg17054213387357906209658254551526.jpg clearance difference went from 1/4 " to 1/16".
I am thinking of indexing my barrel the opposite of the bend hoping for a correction to occur.
Bottom line, I think if your are planning on using the Yokozuna on your Crown, or any barrel mounted tuning device, a barrel band should be used.
Your thoughts?

Im not sure about something being loose, but you may be correct.
I believe, after looking at his photos, that his shroud/barrel is bent.
I dont think his Yokozuna's weight has anything to do with it.
Just my opinion.
The lighting and perspective may be causing the look of it being bent but it's most certainly going down, key is does removing the Mod allow it to go back up? I'm going to stick with loose for right now.

Not loose. Shroud was tight . It did fall once, did checked the gun over pretty closing and saw no damage. I order another linear, dam*.
Thanks Guys.

I've got a 1:24 twist liner I'll put in so I can keep shoot. Who knows , might work better with the 30 gr. Zan.
Once again again, thanks Folks
I would suggest checking your shroud while you have it apart.
If the barrel is bent from the fall, the shroud probably is too.
It should be an easy fix, having a rifle with interchangable barrels.

I put the 1:24 barrel sleeve on seems normal with less than a mm downward at the muzzle end.
Starting at what could impact the 1:18 down ward lean, let's work on what creates good alignment. I believe we can assume the block is ok, 1 unit, the sealing orings could be flatten out inside the locking nut. I will take it apart and change them out. While the barrel sleeve is "naked" , I will take it the barrel to a friendly machine shop to check the sleeve and see if its straight. I could try a roll test first of a piece of glass, like sorting pellets.
Did I forget anything? Fingers crossed. If not I will buy a new sleeve and parts.
Thoughts?

I would think that a kitchen countertop roll test, would be all that is needed, to confirm deviation.
Youve got this!

Hey Guys,
Update on the shroud /barrel/air vessel contact.
I rolled the "naked" 1:18 liner on the counter top yesterday. It seems to be bent every so slightly. I can't figuire out how the liner could have gotten bent when the shroud is straight? No impact mark or dent on the shroud. I guess anything is possible.
When I bought the 1:18 liner, it came in a plastic tube marked 30 cal. At the time I thought it odd but stuck it in anyway. I beginning to think that it had been returned to the dealer for some reason and I ended up with it.
Not blaming anyone, poop happens. Next time though, liner will be returned if not in the original tube.
Mystery solved.
