Update on bent barrel problem.
I found the area of my Crowns heavier 1:18 slug liner. After some test , I found the liner was bent is this area.
shown by the calipers. Once I located the area, I indexed the barrel 90° and came up with this solution.
As you can see , there is clearance between the air vessel and the barrel shroud. Seemed to have reversed the downward slope of the shroud. I'll be testing it today and will give you up dates.
