With the coming of spring and increasing temps, both from tap water, etc. I found a neat way to cool the water in the tank without using ice. My wife has a bunch of cooling packs in the freezer and I threw in a few in the water and dropped the water temp down very low into the teens Celsius. See picture below. It's economical and reusable.

I use a 2 liter bottle filled with water and frozen. I put it back in the freezer after use till the next time.

I use 3, 1 quart ziplock freezer bags filled with frozen water in a 5 gallon bucket and the compressor temp hasn’t ever gone above 45 degrees Celsius but I have never needed to run the compressor longer than 15 min to top off my Air Venturi CF tank from 3500psi to 4500psi
