Yong Heng compressors: which is the best one to get?

I ordered my YH from Amazon due mainly to their excellent return policy (it has the right labels on the machine). I have always been able to return purchases by clicking a few boxes to explain why and taking the purchase to their designated drop location (local). I did not buy the extra warranty, I've seen poor reviews from others that tried to use those. They are nearly always a waste of money (cars, appliances, etc.). I think really good oil is not a waste of money. I use Nuvair. I order things from Alliexpress (like extra white elements for the stock YH filter) but normally only relatively low priced items I don't think I'll need to return or need warranty service on. Sometimes their shipping is included or reasonable but often recently it has been prohibitive. I agree an extra filter is appropriate, especially if you are filling SCBA tanks but I don't think the big gold one is necessary. I have one but do not use it. I had a smaller black one first and I filled it with color change dessicant. I change the white element in the stock filter after every tank fill but rarely have to change the color change beads. Seems like they are not seeing hardly any moisture. I have both filters above the YH so water drains back to the compressor. I vent every 5 minutes and noticable water comes out. I put a one way valve in the outlet of my extra filter. That way I do not have to worry about the SCBA tank pressurizing the YH or air escaping the SCBA when I vent the YH and turn it off. But if you do that, do not dead head the line out of the filter. You have no way to vent it.

Short version, I recommend Amazon purchase so you can return it easily if there is an issue, Nuvair oil, extra filter with color change dessicant but not necessary the huge gold one, and a one way valve in the output of the extra filter.
Which version did you get, They all seem to run 300 with tax included an shipping from amazon I found this link someone on forums posted https://www.aliexpress.us/item/2251...bD&mp=1&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa&_randl_shipto=US its 200 dollars for the compressor hardcover version I think thats a banger deal should I do it.

I just ordered from this link. It's now $190 + $10.53 shipping. Says it is shipping from US location. 5 to 9 days for delivery. Guess we will see! Thanks for the link BTW
Should get ya all the air. Maybe get this tuxing moisture oil filter and run your air vertically bottom to top. Ya might need a few spare fill whips an adapters m10x1 threaded as thats what usually runs for all the chinese hand pumps an compressors. https://rb.gy/7pyoq https://rb.gy/wan8j https://rb.gy/sc0pc https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804907935964.html? spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.3dfe38daLpMhex&mp=1&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa. https://rb.gy/8t8l3 .

@Tiege53 please let us know how it goes. Tks. A picture of the name plate will tell a lot.
Well I got my first Yong Heng today. Here are the pics. It does have the plate but look at the date of MFG. 2021-8. It did ship from the states, NH. Took six days to get here. so for $190 + $10.26 shipping might be a good deal if it isn't a rebuild. Packed like it was new. Being my first not sure I would know. Bought on Ali Express at the Yong Heng store. Here is the link. Guess it's time to hook it up and see if it smokes!

One reason I'm not fond of young heng is the motor rating of 2800 rpm. That suggests the motors are designed for 50 hertz not 60 that is typically used in the United states. Note the lack of a frequency rating on the name plate interesting. Therefore for people using it on 60 hertz it spins at a higher RPM than it is designed for overheats and burns up rings faster than it otherwise would. That combined with having a 300 MPA rating with only two stages shortens its longevity.

So I was on the Wal-Mart website and noticed that there are a few different Yong Heng compressors and I was curious as to which is the best one to get? They're all so inexpensive that if one is worth the extra couple of bucks then it's easily justifiable. Tanks I will be filling are 300cc 250 bar tank on my M3 Compact, 700cc 300 bar tank on my M3 Sniper, and my AV 6.8L tank. Thanks.
I have a Yong heng copy I'm now going on to my forth year with no problems.
Just make sure it's not a YH copy/clone. Don't get auto shut off, you want to monitor the fill process & not depend on a device to stop it at the proper pressure. It's safer that way imho.

But...if something comes up all of sudden and you have a mental lapse and forget I think it would be good to have that switch as a backup. Treat it though as if it doesn't have it. My AV has it but I've never depended on it to do my job.

I have the Digital version. Only gripe I have is that the pressure reading sensor system is off by +-45 BAR, independently verified, but at least the error is consistent. Anyway I monitor my fill station gauge for an accurate reading(calibrated), I set the auto-off to well above where I am going to shut off so that I have time to open bleed screws first. I run on 230V 50 Hertz, so all good on that front. Takes 3 sessions to top up 7L 300 BAR cylinder from +- 160 BAR to 290 BAR(my max fill I go for). Never go above 60°C(140°F).

Got a big ass extra filter(tri-medium type) between compressor standard air filter and air bottle.
