Got this weird issue that the crank bolt keeps coming loose so only the electric motor shaft runs. When i tighten it (right hand thread) it comes lose again when i turn on the compressor. What's happening?

Yes, did some resoldering. Will it run the other way around now? Thought that wasn't possible with AC motors.

Some AC motors can be reversed by changing wires. I'll need to look at mine to see which way it turns. Hopefully someone will beat me to it. Meanwhile tell us which model it is maybe someone will have a picture.

Good thing.. better then it cant and you ended up in a puff of smoke.
You could google it and make be find where or what wires you switched polarity on . Or chance it yourself. Id assume the 2 that's pos and neg to the windings..

Okay, changed the wiring, opened the case for the fourth time to tighten the bolt again, but faced some very bad news: bolt is broken. 
Half of the bolt is deep in there...

The good news is that if it was coming out by itself it shouldn't be that hard to get out. Unless of course you broke it putting it in real tight so it wouldn't come out. It may come out if you just try to drill a hole in it.

If the motor is running in reverse wouldn’t the fan push air out the back instead of pulling air in to cool the motor.

Dont know about 110V AC in the USA but in europe AC turns a motor the same way disregarding the way the appliance is plubbed in.
Phase to zero or zero th phase is the same.
Now if you run a 220V appliance in the US it's run by two phases and that will determine direction!

I guess thats why its got left hand threads so the correct rotation spins the bolt/ nut to the tighten. Centrifugal forces..

Last week or two another guy could not remove and had to cut off half of the crank weight with a blade
