My Yong Heng HPA Air Pump/Compressor has been reliably filling my 9L SCBA tank to 300/310 bar but is now filling only to about 280 bar. What parts do I most likely need to replace to get it back to "normal?" It has about 7~8 hours of operation.

Yes, if needed I’ll replace the assembly - thanks for the feedback.Piston rings on the high pressure piston I'd guess. The piston so cheap I'd just put a new piston/rings as one.
Good idea - certainly the easiest thing to do first - thanks!Yeah, I'd check for leaks first. What kind of oil are you using?
I’ll do that, thanks!Check your guage, mine is an automatic shutoff and I've replaced my at least 3 times.
I’ll start there. Since I have an FX Impact I have aerosol leak detector and know how to use itYou may also have a very small leak that is preventing pressure to build up more. I had that same thing happen to me only to find out the pressure guage was slightly loose. It was just loose enough to keep the pressure from going higher than around 260 bar. After i tightened it everything worked as it should.
Yes, leaks first - and a good idea on checking the whip fill timing when new and later.I will 2nd the checking for leaks. I thought mine was in need of a rebuild recently but discovered a previously tight seal on a connector that had come loose a bit.
A good way to keep track of your compressor performance is to time how long it takes to fill just the whip that come with the the compressor up to 300 BAR. Record the time when it is new and then later when it has some hours on it. If the fill to 300 BAR time gets too long, time to rebuild.
Personally would not recommend as I've used this in the past. Seemed to cause detonation on the secondary piston (high pressure). I've been using corena s2 p150 oil for some time now. So, it is possible this may have contributed to piston seal wear? Hard to say for sure though, but if there are no leaks, I would suspect this.Using Royal Purple.
I have also had a leak in that location, as well as the top of the high pressure output. Had to replace the bonded washer there twice already so I ordered a bunch to have spares. Weird that is the only place that the bonded washer gave out but its probably just because of the high pressure.Ok - follow up - leaky leaky - got it fixed and now all okay. Many thanks to all who helped me through this!

Yeah, I replaced both bonded washers on the tube but then had leaks on both ends of the tube. I assume it was the fixed collar that got messed up when I disassembled it. Luckily I had another one from an old Yong Heng. That worked okay. Where do you get your spare parts? Yes that's where i get parts. I try to anticipate what i would need in the next year or so and just order a few. its only money after all lolYeah, I replaced both bonded washers on the tube but then had leaks on both ends of the tube.
