Yong Heng pressure gauge replacement

I was filling a gun yesterday and noticed the pressure gauge on the compressor was hardly moving but gauge on gun was acting normal. When I got to 225 bar on gun gauge the compressor was reading about 180 bar. I noticed it had been lagging on pressure readings. Where can I get a replacement gauge and what threads does it have?

I just ordered one yesterday at pyramid air for $19.95 and the thread is M10 on my yong heng

its an m10*1 thread pretty sure ... probably hard to find and/or proprietary gauge ... you could look at an adapter then go with any commonly available (and cheap) gauge on fleabay .. try searching [m10 to 1/4npt adapter] and then look at [5000psi gauge] ...

IF it isn't an adjustable shutoff type and IF you have a gauge on your tank and gun that are reliable, just plugging that port should be possible. More safety is good but if the gauges fail then how reliable are they? I trust the gauges on my tank when I fill and the YH gauge always reads low in comparison. My adjustabe shutoff gauge failed a long while back-blew the rubber plug out and across the room. I plugged it temporarily until I got a non-adjustable replacement but now I think I would just plug it.

I have spare nut/bolts/springs/etc. in the thousands in my shop bins. I located a plug that screwed in and used that until a replacement gauge was sourced. It was sometime last year and exactly what it was I don't recall and I only needed to use it once before the replacement gauge arrived. Any correctly sized and threaded bolt and teflon tape should be able to seal it.

I hate to resurrect an old thread but https://www.mcmaster.com/4936K838/ for anyone looking for a high pressure fitting.

Absolutely do not use cheap hydraulic fittings, as they are not rated for these working pressures.

I ignore the gauge on the YH and just use the gauge on my fill set. It is a good gauge and I trust it. I do not see a reason I need to remove it and plug the connection, however.

I don’t think there are any of the button gauges on airguns that are worth a damn.
