Yong Heng question.

Ok, I'm trying to talk myself into it,.....My Nomad II is out ofcommission for the moment and I have a friend that would gift me a 3500 psi steel tank and a big 3000 psi alluminum one.

329 bucks on Amazon Prime and that is really good considering shipped to Hawaii,....question is on top of the Purple oil what else is needed to get going ?

Also, how do you connect the compressor to the tank ?

Thanks in advance.

AA,
Sorry, "best-homepro" search using AGN SEARCH isn't as clear as it was under previous AGN format. Information is still there, just have to look harder. A thread for "Air Venturi Fill Port Sizing" is a good one and includes Bio's Fact Sheet. Mr. P is correct, a special higher flash point oil is best for Yong Heng crankcase. WM
Ok,......which one then ?

I used Chemlube 751, it is dive compressor oil made for high pressure applications. Lower flashpoint oils can diesel and build carbon. There are some conflicting opinions on this and whether it’s necessary. We ask a lot of these little pumps, so I will give every advantage I can to it. Also, keep it as cool as possible, including the motor windings. The largest drawback to these compressors is the setup and many peripherals involved, once over that, they are fantastic for what they are! Coming from hand pumping, I think you will really enjoy having it.

AA,
Still search under "best-homepro," then find thread about Air Venturi Fill Nipple, that will provide good info, including Bio's Fact Sheet. 357 batteries are longer lasting than L44 for the snap-in temperature digital display. SecoLube 500 has a 520-degree F flash point while the Husky Full Synthetic Air Compressor Oil has a 460-degree F one. Higher the better for flashpoint, lower flashpoint oils getting into second stage will tend to detonate and cause problems. WM
