Yong heng water pump brass elbows

Hello.

Im wondering if anyone knows what thread size the brass elbows are that fit into the yong heng cylinder head are ? I managed to snap one of mine !

take the broken elbow to the hardware store, & use it to find the correct size threads, dont be bashful if you cant find it , ask for help from a employee, also buy an easy out to remove the broken part , good luck

PS, you may be SOL, on the threads , Steve = Humdinger on this forum is really good on threads & compressors pm him

Thanks Ramjet , my mate might be able to help me out tomorrow , he has a varity of hose elbows and some might work , failing that , we will re-tapp the thread on the cylinder and fit a bigger one

I'm fairly certain that the thread size is 1/8 BSPP and the barb is 8mm. It may sound a little odd having imperial threads when most of the other fittings being metric but the makers tend to use whatever is readily available and these general use spigots universally have imperial pipe threads. yes i think i will start building up a inventory of parts for the compressor , i have ordered a replacement cylinder head from aliexpress and will just use parts off that.
