Yong Heng Will Not Turn On

Received a yong heng in the mail yesterday. When I first turned it on it paused for a second and then started. Filled up my gun just fine. Came back an hour or two later and it once again paused before starting.

This morning I turned it on and it took 10 seconds to start up. Now it has nothing. Wont turn on at all.

I just went and turned it on again. It clicked about three times in the switch and then turned on.

Any suggestions?

Check all your wiring. These are prone to wires burning up. I have rewired my Tuxing (2 stage) twice.The second time I used 14 gauge wire so far no issues.

Did ya hit the restart button on the side?you must open both vales when starting? no pursuer when starting.You might have to take the cowling off,maybe a lose wire? Willy

Where is the reset button? Is it under the cover. It almost seems like it is in the switch. The last time the switch clicked 3 or 4 times and then came on.

Have you tried plugging into a different outlet? Might be low amperage in the outlet you are using.

It seems like if you push down on the switch as you rock it over to on it will fire up.

Sounds like a bad switch or maybe a poor connection on the back of the switch. Such should not be that hard to fix-check the connections and replace the switch if necessary.

The reset is on the side?its small.Dont trust the plug on the side for the water pump,those go bad.i no I burned up a compressor because of the conation.Well come to pump world"if your not a tinker these pumps aren't for you"

Two things, make sure the outlet is a 30 amp circuit like on a washing machine, and open the bleed valve when starting. Also because the second stage seals are brand new and haven't worn in yet the piston will be very tight, if pump doesn't start emedietly turn it back off wait a moment and try again. It's not a good idea to leave the pump stalled when trying to start up, could cause damage.
