You are looking for a decent springer, new, used doesn't matter. What do you look at?
My initial instinct was to say "buy $300 worth of pellets!" but once I glanced at my own stash decided a new gun would probably help cull them a bit. Plus I really want a new .22 Diana that puts the slap down on thingsI am a well documented diana homer that's for sure. This is my pellet stash cash but after a quick inventory i've realized i have more pellets than i have outfits to shoot them all. So it makes sense in a twisted sort of way to find another lead slinger?
Sounds like a job for an HW50S. I'm a springer guy through and through. If it don't go booiing neither do I.Springerwise, I own all breakbarrels. I have had all the tx, hw, and Diana fixed barrels and while I enjoyed them all, I dove into the deep end of the pcp pool.
I had 14 pages on the yellow feedback, yeah, that bad. I sold off all my high end springers to support that habit which I soon moved on from.
I did inquire about a nice break barrel on the classifieds though, I can't help myself lol.
And it needs to be a good pester, I removed 8 chipmunks yesterday from a neighbors farm and missed a few.
So many things wrong with this.Do a sports bet and double your money. Buy a HW 35E Walnut Stainless.
Nice as the HW 30 (R7) is, you'd want a bit more power to zap rodents at distance - either the HW 50S or HW 35 would be excellent. The 50 is lighter and handier; the 35 heavier and more traditionally made with the threaded-on rear receiver end. A nice detail of the 35 is that the manual barrel latch allows you to both open and close the breech silently.Springerwise, I own all breakbarrels.
