Your favorite aftermarket grip for FX Crown?

What's your favorite aftermarket grip for FX Crown?

I know there are a few custom ones out there in wood just wonder if you could speed up the search and not buy the wrong one that won't fit straight away

My crown MK2 has the Saber Tactical chassis and I replaced the grip with an Ergo straight grip. I really like how it feel and handles.

Thanks. It’s a place I have permission to shoot. It’s not mine. 300 plus acres and they have squirrel problems so I get to go help them out.

While I like the ERGO, vertical grip, I like this better -

The "Emperor Grip", which is modified with some epoxy to "fit" my hand.

It's also a vertical grip. I used some tape to seal off the big hole in its side, then put a big blob...of epoxy on the right side, then grabbed it as if I were shooting. This left an imprint of the palm of my hand in the epoxy. This way, my hand sets in the same position...every...time I hold the grip. The good thing is, if you don't like what you have done...grind a little epoxy off, and redo the procedure, until you are happy with your hand positioning.

Note that the Emperor grip by itself isn't bad either. Two (maybe three) sizes are meds for different hands sizes.

Then paint to fit.

And yes, this is...the same grip as the AR15 rifle, that fits MANY air rifles.

P.S. - ERGO makes two or three different angles of their grips if you don't like the vertical (90 degree). Just read each grips detailed info to find the grip angle.

I like the Anarchy Outdoors Penguin. I really love the MPA vertical grip, but with the Saber Chassis, I had to use the dremel to make it fit and cut out for the safety.

As long as the grip isn't a direct, actual part of the "chassis", again the ERGO, the Emperor, and MANY others will still fit.

But as one person said, you "may" have to do a little sanding, carving grinding to make it fit exactly. Normally, not a big problem.

Just either look at the web site that I gave you, and...or...type AR15 grips into Google and expect to be sitting, and staring at the screen for a...while !

Yes. The Ergo straight grip bolts right in without any sanding, grinding or fitting needed.

if this takes an AR grip, and you're torn between a standard angled grip and a vertical grip, there is also the reduced angle bcm mod 0 style grip.

I have shot AR’s for many years at work and used the ergo 0 degree ( straight) grip. When I got my saber tactical stock a 0 degree grip was out on it. I have tried many grips over the years and ergo 0 degree is the one for me.

I have both the Emperor and Penguin, I don't grab it around a "neck" but resting my thumb on the upper shelf on palm side, and when ready to trigger I don't squeeze with fingers but I push the thumb against the shelf.

i was always taught when hunting to keep my thumb on the neutral side to avoid steering the rifle away from the natural point of aim, and keeps your thumb from pushing your poa when you pull the trigger. this is less critical with light target triggers but my current L2 doesn't have one of those.

the same goes for precision shooting and i use a grip with a thumb rest for shooting out to 800+ yards.
