So what's your pick for a great pair of Nylon Jaw Pliers?

I hate grabbing on to metal on metal gun parts when working on my airguns and marring them

You may want to check out Knipex pliers.

They sell jaw protectors for their plier wrenches and "Cobra" pliers.

I only own the one, and have only used the one. These are slip joint, and come with extra jaws. So far, I have no complaints. Those Knipex look nice, though.

Those Japanese made pliers come up a lot as one of the top pliers I note in my research so far too!

I have the water pump style and the slip joint style of the Japanese pliers, they are quality made but the plastic is a bit too hard, so slippery on some smooth metal objects.

I note that also being a bit hard and slippery too

I use them on knurled water fittings usually. Hard slippery and wet.

Sure beats using a towel or pad between the pliers, and should grip better. Thanks for the tip and idea.
