Zan slug advise

I have a 25cal,700mm, M3,stock except for ST top rail with barrel bushing. I also have the Superior Heavy liner. Tried most of the NSA slugs and the 29.5 dish base shot the best. Problem is that on 2 different batches I received, shot all over the place. Nothing was changed on my gun. All my test were on very calm days. I got 1.5 MOA @ 100 yards consistently. Except for the two batches very good result. I have spent $600.00 on NSA slugs. So I ordered some Zan 37 grain. My gun was tuned back to the FX 34 grain pellets, shooting at 930 fps. My groups were constantly under 1.5 MOA on calm days. I shot 10 rounds of the Zan 37 grains and stacked them all at 50 yards @ 890fps. WOW! No changes to the settings. Can anyone share some setting and velocities to get started. I know the fps is to slow and also need to change liner. These have a texture to the surface( probably to help with stability). Do they need lube? Hope some info from member can save me some $$$$.

Always lube slugs. It’s one of the things during testing that you have control of no matter what brand, size or weight you use. You are already involved in something that’s has you chasing your tail. You don’t want to look back with woulda coulda shoulda and have to do it all again.
i think zan slugs come pre lubed

Right now you don’t need more speed to stack them at 50. If my gun was stacking them at 50 I wouldn’t be getting ahead of myself with “big plans” until I shot it at 100. Shoot it then get back to digging the rabbit hole. Know what absolutely doesn’t work before you make your next plan. Don’t fall victim of the M3 Virus. You are already showing severe symptoms.
