I have 2 Sapsans less than a year old both like new both with air leaks, anyone have any idea's where to start or have had any experience with this

Just bought one new, try soaping around breech end of air tube, or contact Zbroia, they might have some ideas. I just contacted them about trigger adjustment, they responded on the same day.

there are 2 models of Sapsan one has the reg in the buttstock, the other has the reg on the air tube
the one in the butt stock is a piece of garbage, leaky high pressure air path and a valve stem that hangs up in the hammer spring adjuster, and the hammer spring adjuster has to be left at it lowest setting

Were you able to find/fix the leak? I have a less than one year Sapsan .22 probably around 400 pellets recently developed a leak. Took it to Joe, gun sat there for 1 month then he told me he is waiting on the o-ring which will come early March so I took it back and decided to give it a try myself.

OH RATS, I just ordered one from Top Gun, should be here in a few days. I did ask them if they had spare parts in and they said they just received them. Plus with the Russians going west for a road trip this could suck big time. So much for researching, I didn't see any issues. Oh well, it'll be interesting.

just spent $10 for rings and $35 for overnight shipping from the o-ring store I have the o-rings leak on the reg spool, shape edges on threads were it screws into the alum reg housing

Just for curiosity, because I don't know squat about these things, but have been in the machining trades for a bit, would a VERY LIGHT touch with some light abrasive pads to break the edges enough to save the 0-rings and prevent it from happening again. I'm surprised they didn't break the edges during manufacturing, it's sop prior to anodizing to prevent this.

Hog killer, in a word YES! in multiple places. where the probe goes in , where the barrel goes in to the magazine module (requires dissaembly of rifle) and now the internal threads of the regulator housing. I use different things one of which is some rubberized polishing burrs to take the edge off the thread's sharp peak

If I had a lathe it'd be a snap. I've had good luck with them, just have to make sure to flush out the dust and crud of course.

+ On the (Just buy o-rings) idea. O-rings are cheap and you don't have to wait on someone to repair your pcp. I've been using the fluorine green o-rings for a few years now and find many less problems with abrasion and run out. They are Viton but not hard and seem to be very tough. Most of my pcp's get these o-rings as soon as I have to take them apart for any reason. Look up the seller Uxcell on Amazon and search.

Well, I managed to break my Sapsan, cranked up my hammer spring to get the JSB 18,13's to 1000 fps and bye bye o-ring. As a note, I was getting 40 ft lbs and at 25 yards the same accuracy as 870 fps. Even more interesting is my shot speeds were much more consistent. Thankfully, Jarmstrong told me the right size o-ring and they are ordered. As a note, I've figured out a way to have an external hammer spring adjustment. I also found out that the shroud messes with the barrel harmonics. Took it off and AA 16, AA 18 and JSB 18.13 are all the same hammer spring setting, absolutely zero aim point difference, the 18's run about 870 fps and the 16 perk along about 940 fps.
Not being one to leave things well enough alone, I have to screw with this thing, I did manage to screw up the hammer roller set screw, THAT is a project to get the darn thing out without having to build a new hammer or see how hard they actually made the hammer to fix the set screw.

You do know that Zbroia is having a little issue with some Russians bombing the place don't you? They are in Ukraine, Joe IS the US distributor and I can tell you they are clueless on the gun but....knock yourself out.

he has messaged me, he has to replace the o-rings, to stop a leak, plain but not simple to do,,, I can't fix it for him and I really really dislike that model, I threw mine into the junk pile

Oh I can understand that, the replacement Sapsan S that Joe finally sent me A YEAR LATER after he broke my first one is working fine.
