There is a guy making a better valve and porting jig that brings it up into the 900s at less bar. I haven't gotten inside mine yet, but I think the ports are pretty small.

I’ll bet they keep them choked off because of shot count. As our fascination with velocities has leveled out, we now look at shot count. I think manufacturers understand that balancing act because it influences buyers. Nobody wants a 1.5-2 magazine 480cc bottle gun.

When it showed up it was doing 4 mags on the 350cc bottle but was only doing 600 fps.
I think this platform is suited more for 22 or 25.

I went back and watched his videos from when he first got the 9mm. It was on the 750 range with 80 grain. More than I thought, but it doesn't even get 2 full mags per fill.
I'm really hoping the valve kit i bought will give me the velocity at less pressure the maker claims it will.
I'm waiting for someone to sell off their 22 or 25 zelos that's broken/leaking so I can do the shorty caliber change.

That's interesting, my buddies .22 zelos is putting shooting the 25.39gr at 850fps and only getting about 33shots per fill all stock.
