Snowpeak Zelos-M60 Side By Side Comparison, Specs & More

The Zelos and M60 have wonderful barrels, on par accuracy wise with the impacts up to 50 yards and perhaps further but I have not had a windless day to compare them at 100 plus yards.

The 500mm FX barrel kits match the Impact performance as it should, being the same barrel.

I have spent perhaps 20 hours on 4 Zelos and M60's triggers to fully understand the mechanism and operation. I am setting them to 1.5 lbs and no uptake on the trigger shoe.

I'm extremely happy with the break and feel it's on par with my benchrest triggers.

If someone would make a trigger guard/rail that went up under a bottle conversion...I think I'd be all in! Need a good place to put a bipod.

Already done. The M60 has a short one and I think Wes has them in stock.

Do the Zelos and M60B share the same o-ring kit?
The actions are all the same. Zelos just has a longer barrel and shroud, and obviously the tube. The regulator and tank/bottle fitting are the same as is the valve. I'm not 100%, but I think the porting is all the same as well. The 22 might be smaller, but my 30 cal had a small port in it that would suit a 25 better.

Anybody have issues with the zelos degassing set screw? Loosened per instructions. Now I can't re-Tighten nor loosen . Thing won't budge !! And there is no way threads are crossed . I barely turned it . Can't fill gun now , Set screw stuck on open . Suggestions??

Fully remove the grub and delrin seat. Clear the hole, check the threads, reseat the delrin, carefully reinsert the grub and tighten lightly.

Great post! The number one thing they need for the zelos is better bottle adapters that should just be universal. Anybody that designs a solid one could make a business on that one part. 4500psi or it’s pointless to bottle upgrade

I think you don't have all the info, the regulator is the the 3625psi bottleneck.

The adapters just repeat that max so you don't put 4500psi in the bottle that's rated for 4500psi.

The adapter can hold that pressure but the regulator inside the receiver can't or isn't rated for it.

Easy way around it is to put a cheap regulator on the bottle set to 3625psi and feed the adapter that pressure.

Sorry i was talking about if the bonnet screw could be converted to being a female bonnet rather then requiring a converter sleeve and excluding a whole other part. I was shocked that there hasn’t been different bonnets then a m18
