I have to ask. What’s with the 4 scope rings ?
Doesn’t look bad just never seen that before

IT started with an old Savage 30-06 my Uncle Vic gave me in 1975 . Thing kicked like a mule , so I put 2 sets on it. I have heard people even on this Nation say my scope on my springer comes loose well use 2 pair then. I applied it my air rifle for more stability , and I drop things a lot with this corporal tunnel in my hands.I have to ask. What’s with the 4 scope rings ?

So how is that 700mm barrel fellingGot some range time in today shot at 50m and 100m with the new tungsten hammer and TI bolt. When I previously posted I said I have a 60-70fps increase with the combo on the 165bar reg setting with the Wildman slugs that I’d not tested with a chrome before. I shot a bunch of slugs I’d shot previously with the stock hammer and bolt and on average I gained 80-100fps.
Set up is:
M60B
C88 FX liner with 700m heavy
C88 valve
Tungsten hammer and Ti bolt
Nothing to write home about on the 50m most stuff shot well as I’d expect.
At 100m with a 13mph S crosswind and shooting west the best group were the following.
.217 H&N 30g at 0.766” 955fps
.218 Zan 40g 1.061” 830 fos
.217 Zan 25.5 1.43” 1020 fps
The .217 NSA 28.5s usually do well at 100m but they strung perfectly horizontal for the two groups I tried with them. Maybe when I shot them the wind gusted and pulled them right.
Overall happy with the hammer and bolt. Bolt cycle is slightly smoother then the stock bolt and the shot cycle with the hammer is the same. Probably keep it at the same setting to run some more stuff thru it and then see about lowering the reg to get the speeds I’d previously had.
So how are liking the 700 mm over the stock M60. I know the .22 cal Zelos barrel is 26" , , and that thatGot some range time in today shot at 50m and 100m with the new tungsten hammer and TI bolt. I'm liking the 700mm heavy a lot so far. My stock barrel was inconsistent at times. One day it shoot great the next not so much. The liners have increased my accuracy and consistency across a large range of pellets and slugs. So how is that 700mm barrel felling

700mm is 27.6 plus being FX , and all I'm liking this very much , so I want your opinion on it as a person who knows , and has actually used it. Would you say it was worth it , and is it more accurate. Oh yeah I know this post is for Zelos pic's , and I don't mean to off topic , but my Zelos is all apart right now for custom paint job. So how about the 700 mm OldVet wants to know.
I'm going to do a bling job with Rust-Oleum Gold , and Chrome then cover it with some of that 2K clear coat that has a epoxy like finish hardener built in.I'm liking the 700mm heavy a lot so far. If your stock barrel isn't great their are a some benefits to the liners
- lightens gun up
-C88 will sell your the 700mm kit and the 500mm carbon shroud so you can run the 500mm 700mm liners
-Able to swap between compact and full sized easily so they offer you some versatility.
-Negatives
Additional cost 2 liners $200 plus $150 for the combo kit 500mm &700mm.
I like running the 500mm liner more for the compact size as its flush with the bottle on mine with a 31mm OD LDC, but for now I'm goin for power on the 700mm and seeing how far I can shoot it at longer ranges.
What type of paint job are you getting done?
