Zelos Slow Leak 😒

Just got a zelos and it’s leaking air slowly. The pressure gauge is dropping but the reg gauge is staying where it’s set even after the pressure gauge has dropped below the reg. So I can rule out the poppet valve right? Any ideas where it’s leaking from and has any one else dealt with this problem already?

I know nothing about the zelos but have you tried to trace/find where it leaks from. Leak detectors in spray cans or soapy water and a small brush might give you an indication what Oring you might need. Fill port, gauges ETC
I bought a can of crc last night gonna try it in the morning. I hope it’s something really simple like a o ring because I really love the gun

On a new gun I’d look at the basics such as the gaugages & air tube to see if they are loose. If that didn’t do the trick I’d contact Airgun Depot for an exchange. You take a new gun apart looking for a leak you more than likely would void the warranty. Exchange it & hope the ew oe doesn’t leak or have other issues.

Yeah if it’s not something simple like that I probablu will do that

I know there is another member who has returned 3 of these zelos to Pyramyd Air. 2 leakers ans one had bad clipping issues with the shroud cap.

I can't express enough that if you want to buy this gun, to give Wes at airgunarcheryfun.ca a call. He will go over and test your gun before sending it out. He even opens up the hammer adjuster in the stock so you don't have to remove the 600 screws off the back to get in there lol. Just lower the butt plate down and you have access.

Now you still have to remove those screws and covers for the trigger adjustments.

Ok, it's not 600 screws I was exaggerating.... it's 597.

I just checked for leaks with a can of arc and can’t find it! I think it’s somewhere underneath those 597 screws lol and if I pay $600 for a gun I don’t feel like I should have to be goin through this. I just started the return 😒

I agree. I would be returning it as well. Sorry that you also had trouble. Seems like the umarex models are having far more problems than the snowpeak.

Maybe it's something with the tube design vs the bottle. All the reviews I've read or seen has been on the bottled m60.
