Other Zoraki / Alecto exhaust valve

I seem to have a leaking exhaust valve on my Zoraki Ultra.
Has anyone in here taken one of these exhaust valves apart? I reckon it should be pretty straightforward but it seems there’s always some oddball trick to a lot of these things

Here is how it looks out of the pistol fella-

You won't have the delrin washer/ oring (I swapped out the leaking u cup seal).

To remove the valve you need to remove the pump/ valve from the chassis and knock through the pins that hold the hammer to the valve body. You can then just unscrew the brass bit (hammer end) and viola.

Before you do though it might be worth lubing the rear of the valve stem where the hammer strikes incase the stem is just getting hung up on the ucup stem seal (it happens!).

I followed your suggestion about lubing the valve stem. Then gave it several dozen shots and stored it pumped up for a few days.
The leak (hissing heard from the barrel) has greatly decreased and seems to be steadily improving.
