It looks like it’s time to bunker up due to the Coronavirus.
We had two shooters understandably decide to pull out today over virus concerns. Governors of adjoining states have closed the bars and restaurants and we’re concerned that the same might happen here just as we’re starting the event. We also read that some people may be spreading the virus without knowing it, so you might pick it up on the way here or in one of the local establishments. It’s not worth the risk or the planning headaches of trying to keep physical separation at the event. Consequently, we’d like to reschedule for the fall.
There are about $1,100 in unrecoverable costs expended to bring the match together. We’re asking for donations to help offset those costs. If you’re generous enough to help out, we’ll deduct them from the match fee for the rescheduled event.
Registered shooters will also get an email notification. If you're willing to make a donation, please respond to the email. (We'd like to keep the donations private.)
Match fees, less any contributions, will be refunded. Please allow some time for us to get that done.
