Tuning 3D printable Baffle for Hatsan QE rifles up to .25

I designed this the other day, it is 3D printable, it should fit most Hatsan QE rifles up to .22 cal, it requires a single wrap of Felt, wrap felt around baffle, tape as needed with scotch tape or electrical tape to hold the felt to the baffle, make sure the baffle is in the proper direction, notched indent end toward the barrel, then push both the felt and the baffle in to the shroud, make sure the felt does not obstruct the pellet pathway, re-install the endcap.

file has the baffle with endcap end down barrel end up...

here's the New Improved Baffle ver 6 .25 tested and approved

I had a failure today with the Baffle in my .25 Flashpup, the pellet clipped the baffle destroying the baffle, I realized the pathway hole was to small (to close of tolerance)

and clipped the Baffle, I will do a redesign to solve the Issue

So Please Do Not use on .25 QE Rifles, it should be ok with .22 and .177.

I will post the redesign when I get it done.

if you want to do it yourself, the pathway hole needs to be 9mm for good clearance, other than that the Baffle works great.

Good fix by adding the spacers around the two ends. That allows it to be scaled up to larger diameter mod bodies. Is you mod-housing in the last photos 3D printed too? What are the dimensions?

Could you post the STL file for the 3" version of the baffles too and the housing? I do not have a 3D printer, but I know there are services online that do.

What "easy to use" 3D program would you guys recommend for editing the STL files?

AFAIK you cannot edit a stl file, all info is lost after rendering, only the shell remains, but you can scale, cut or ad part to the model

I use OpenScad, free to download and use , if you are a programmer or a lot smarter than me, you may find it easy :)

https://openscad.org/

these Baffles are open site on Tinkercad (Free to join and tinker) you can manipulate the item to what ever you want, just look up the file name with out the STL on the end, just make sure after tinkering you select the item and export, (I use STL files you can use OBJ files too, depends on your printer and setup program) this will send the file to downloads in your computer.

the housing dimensions are the same but the wall thickness is thicker, the 3" version is the same Baffle but cut in half.

here's 2 versions of the 3" Baffle

Thank you. Managed to import it in TinkerCad and got around playing with it.

Did more testing today, the baffles in the flash and flashpup are working great, now I need a depinger to get rid of the loud ping, the report from the end of the gun is very low, the ping from the gun is louder., also tested the small baffle in my home made LDC on the Marauder pistol, it was so quiet, barely a puff from it, also tested the large baffle on a Sam Yang 909 .44 cal, it brought the report down to about a the same as a Sheridan pellet rifle with 8 pumps, this was on high power setting, low power setting was half that..... Wow, this Baffle is Efficient with the felt wrapped around it make a big difference....😁😁😁👍
