Air Venturi Worthless

Is it the same one from Aliexpress for $200 shipped? The one that connects to the car battery?

There is a Yong Heng with auto shut off post that is priced at only $86.99 with free shipping and 5 year warranty that I am thinking of purchasing. Maybe a Yong Heng might work better in your case and I am not going to use it to fill tanks and only directly to the guns.

Nomad II's and the crap containing the same internals are just that. Garbage. Don't give them your $$.

I went through 2 nomads and a nomad 2 in just over a year. I paid to upgrade to the nomad 2 and after a while it fried the motherboard and blew a fuse. I sent it t in for warranty work, they put in a new motherboard and it hasn’t worked right since. When I got it back I emailed them that it wasn’t pumping up past 50ish bar and was told that I didn’t know how to use it. So now I have a paperweight.

I make sure to purchase these kinds of items with my Chase card. Gives me a year on top of the manufacturers warranty. If the manufacturer doesn't want to play ball, Chase refunds my money. May not be the best card in the world, but this kind of protection has come in very handy over the years.

Check with your card issuer and see what kind of extended warranty if any they offer for your purchases, it's worth it to break out the magnifying glass and read those disclosure pamphlets ;)

Sorry you've had so many problems with such an expensive compressor. I hope they decide to do you right. I thank you for sharing your experience with their "customer service", I can take them off my list of compressors to try.

Did they replace your broken ones under warranty or send you a new one each time?

Did they extend the warranty or is 1 year the limit?

That would most certainly be unrealistically optimistic. That would give the buyer a potential lifetime warranty if that were the case if it breaks right before each and every year is up.

It would be like your car battery warranty when you get a replacement exchange that only continues (non stop clock still ticking resumes) with a definite end date starting from the original date of purchase.

What is realistically unfair IMHO is the down time shipping it back and fourth and wait time the end date warranty clock still keeps on ticking down. It would probably be in their best interest to delay replacement turnaround time as long as possible to run the clock down as much as possible so you won't get the next chance to "score" before the game ending buzzer.

That's what I'm talking about. You purchase the item and wait some period of time before you receive it - ticks off the warranty clock.

You finally use it and it lasts 6 mos. - more ticks off the clock.

You try to make contact with the company over several weeks by email and phone - more ticks off the clock.

Finally you are in touch with the company and they give you a 'fix' that should work, or send you a part - clock still ticking.

You try to fix it, no go. Now you recontact the company and finally get to send it back for repair (usually at your expense) - and the clock is still ticking.

The item is returned to you in a workable but not completely functional state and now the warranty has run out.

Or, they replace the item with a new one - does the new one not come with a warranty? How does a new item have any connection to the original item which was broken, or its warranty? Aren't there state consumer protection laws against this?

Just asking.

That would be the case if they actually had a pro rata type warranty that are found in some Automobile tires and batteries when you get docked on usage and/or time and you pay the difference in price for the brand new replacement then you get a brand new warranty start date.
