Tuning Ambidextrous Cocking Block?

Any update on this design? I got my somewhere early spring 2020, can't believe people were not complaining about the handle bouncing back from the front block/rubber ball.

Actually I don't care much about a handle by itself but that same connected mechanism drives the probe/pin to push the pallets/slugs to a inconsistent depth.

I am on the edge to remove and put the stock FX cocking block/parts back to the gun.

I was tuning/modding the MK2 the entire last winter, no touching screws anymore unless I get really emotional with this Saber cocking mechanism.

For a first aid I will try to find a rubber ball slightly larger and insert 2x (or I may cut a slice from a soft oring), or maybe pre-laod with a spring from the back not to retract at close.

Re-read your comment again, you talking about FX front block or about Saber front block?

....im sure a dealer or FX tech service will do it for you.

From second one (not from a day one) my toys stays with me, I don't need any third party to mess with my screws or with my tunes. Either I learn to be a mechanic...or not.

Whoever needs a serviceman for airguns...you missed a sport and this is not for you, you shall not buy it at a first place/

This Saber Tactical ambidextrous cocking block have design flaws, tree bigger mistakes and they sold it as is and no update or saying sorry...the rest of the functions is a simple FX copy....this is my point.

bigHUN, when you say "Whoever needs a serviceman for airguns...you missed a sport and this is not for you, you shall not buy it at a first place/" I think you are essentially telling people that there is only one way to enjoy a sport, and that is, in my opinion, incorrect. It is probably true that people who need a serviceman for their airguns do not enjoy the sport the way you do, but c'est la vie. They enjoy it their way.

For me, I like to tinker with my airguns, to a point. I have other hobbies I enjoy, and work, so if I have to spend too much time fixing/fiddling with an airgun then I may well use a serviceman.

As for your original point, I freely admit to knowing absolutely nothing about the Saber Tactical ambidextrous cocking block :)

This started annoying me, I must resurrect this thread. I am not surprised how come nobody from ST chimed in.

I toke it apart last night, and here we are:

- The OEM handle link has a 2.5 mm hole (also the OEM front block had a 2.5 mm dowel pin)

- The Saber Tactical front block has a 2.0 mm hole (and a 2.0 mm pin)

This is a 0.5mm play in the hole but projected to the handle lever = a large amount of loose play and slaps the front block hard.

I don't think I can find that FX link as a stand alone part with a 2.0 mm hole to match the ST front block.

Also I cannot imagine getting the front block from Saber Tactical as a RECALL part.

So I am left alone...the best and painless to get over with it? - me to grab a 2.5 mm drill and do some elbow greasing to enlarge the black block hole (2.0 mm hole on Right side) and find a matching 2.5 mm piece of dowel or rod to tighten down the play.

But a problem still on surface...what can guaranty me (before I even start modding it) that that 2.0mm hole in the ST front block is in right position? Because by design (this what I am saying this is a design flaw and not a manufacturing error).

Hey, Saber Tactical, next time do a better job, because this kit you sold me is a half job done, I am not saying this is poop job but you shall not sell it for $125 USD but like the Chinese friends for peanuts. ;)
