There's something that just feels right about this kind of shooting. Start with an iconic, well made springer air pistol that requires discipline and technique to fully appreciate its accuracy potential. Next set out some 1/10th scaled down NRA big bore metallic silhoettes or a resettable target, and shoot away. I shoot lots of targets but reactive metal targets are must haves with the mighty P1.
Here's my P1 .177 "Plinkomatic". She spits out the AA 7.87 gn pellets at around 550 fps. Actually she shoots lots of pellets accurately, but for the video below I used the AA Express.
Here's a close look at one of four of the metal center mass targets that comprise the Sig Sauer Quad Resettable target. The 4 silhouette center mass targets are 1 5/8" wide x 2 5/8" high and the Sig reset target in the middle is 1-1/2" diameter.
Target placed where I can get 14 yards +, with the wind mostly at my back
Here's a short video of Plinkomatic in action. Burris Fast Fire III 3 MOA red dot. 14 yards, 5 shots, 5 hits. The goal is to get 6-8 in under a minute , stand by for that! Link here: https://youtu.be/6w5SD2AHFCU
Early days but the target system looks to work fine. More to come!
Thanks for looking
