I need a link to some camo tape guys! All I can find is the shiny stuff or the wraps that are just temporary. Would like some like Matt Dubber has on his moderator. Anyone give me the brand I am looking for?

I know PA sells a nice tape kit. Also, I would check Brownells.

"I" wouldn't use any "tape" if left on any time at all and then attempt to remove your resale value will take a hit, then again I don't know what your using it on and perhaps nothing else (removable ace type wrap-which has it's own draw backs-) will work for you. I've used on the ace bandage type stuff.

Wal-mart carries a nice digital camo tape that I used on my shooting sticks. Don't know how well it would ever come off though. I'm thinking it's kinda perm. in nature.

Mcnett Camo Form I keep a couple rolls on hand and it only sticks to itself and doesn't leave a residue on the rifle. It feels like medical type wrap that you find in first aid kits ,but with a nice grippy texture.

I've tried a few different "camo tapes" like McNett's. I find them bulky, heavy, and moisture/water absorbing.
I prefer to use an adhesive/removable tape made by 3M. I covered this Verminator with a product from Camoclad. www.camoclad.com You can buy it in sheets which I find much more useful than the pre-cut rifle shapes.

Looks great ! If you later want to change patterns, when you remove it, will it leave a residue ?

I've used the McNett type camo tape too. The knock-off stuff can leave some residue but my Syn-Rod is a hunting gun and I don't worry about it being a beauty queen.I like to be able to wrap the scope and stock together to break up the shape. Look at my avatar. Bends in pretty well.
