Cricket II - first month recap video

I'm not much of a video person, but I decided to give this a shot! Hopefully this is not too much like NPR doing an airgun video :p Anyway, check out my impressions of the Cricket II after shooting it for about one month:

BTW, I was worried about not having enough to say and the video ended up being almost 30-minutes long so I guess that was an unfounded worry... ;-)

Good Job Matt .

I like the one point you brought up about filling, i found the exact same thing when i fill my .25 off the 100cu.in. Omega bottle, just open the valve and let it equalize . It took me a few fills to realize it won't overfill .

This is my 1st Cricket , and i was not aware of the " slow fill " , i actually like it and think all guns should have this ..

Great, great video. You didn't mention the weight on the .22 or the .25. I have a the original .22 and used to own a .25, and I noticed the .25 had some weight to it which is good for the bench. My .22 is a little hefty but not like the .25. After watching your video, I'm now wanting the cricket II but I don't need it but would be cool to have one. There are just too many good pcp's right now.

@wyshadow here is the .25 on the scale , bipod, scope, and Sumo

Thanks for the kind words regarding the video! Here are the weights of my guns:

  • .22 Cricket II wood stock (scoped) = 10 lbs
  • .25 Cricket synthetic stock(scoped with bipod) = 11.75 lbs
  • .22 Brocock Sniper HP synthetics stock (scoped) = 10.25 lbs
  • .177 RWS 34 wood stock (scoped) = 9.75 lbs

@wyshadow, what do you figure the gun would weigh without the sumo and bipod? Those must add about one pound, right?

Very nice!

I have not paid much attention to big bore air rifles, but it looks like they offer a 35 caliber not a 30 caliber...

Edit... HAM is showing both 30 and 35...
